MorpheusGoAway is a convenience tool that monitors on-device motion sensors to detect inactivity. It is not a medical device and is not used to diagnose, treat, or monitor any health condition.
What we collect
On the device (never uploaded as raw sensor data):
- Accelerometer and, when available, gyroscope samples processed locally to decide whether you have moved.
- Session settings, the last 30 session summaries, and cached trial / unlock state.
- An app-generated
app_instance_id(random UUID). This is not an advertising ID.
On our self-hosted API:
app_instance_id, platform (iOS / Android), trial start time, unlock time.- Purchase references needed to validate App Store or Google Play receipts (transaction IDs / tokens).
- Last seen time and optional coarse country if the store or device provides it.
- Optional anonymous event counters if you enable analytics (session started, alert fired, trial converted).
We do not collect names, email addresses, precise location, raw motion streams, photos, contacts, or advertising identifiers.
How we use data
- To run the 7-day trial and lifetime unlock.
- To validate a purchase or restore it on another device.
- To operate and debug the API.
- If you opt in, to count anonymous product events.
We do not sell data. We do not use data for advertising. We do not share data except with Apple or Google solely to validate a purchase, or if required by law.
Storage and security
Unlock tokens and trial state are stored in the OS secure storage on your device. API records are stored on a server we control. Receipts are validated server-side and are not used for any other purpose. Data in transit uses HTTPS. If the device is offline, the app uses a locally cached trial or unlock state for up to 72 hours.
Your choices
- Analytics are off unless you turn them on in Settings.
- Delete the app to remove local data.
- To delete server-side trial / purchase records, follow Delete your data.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. The Google Play listing targets ages 18+ because of driving / safety-critical disclaimers.
Changes
We will update this page if the policy changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
